This is the third installment of a periodic update on the status of the Milpitas Off-Leash Dog Park Project.
This is an invitation to attend a public meeting to review the plans and sites for the Citys proposed Dog Park in Ed Levin Park. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2002, beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the Police Administration Buildings Community Room, 1275 North Milpitas Boulevard.
Representatives of the Citys Landscape Architectural firm as well as City staff will be present to discuss the proposed Dog Parks amenities, the relative merits of the two alternative sites and the conceptual plans developed for each site.
At a future City Council meeting, the Council is expected to request approval from the County of Santa Clara to develop a Dog Park at one of the two sites. It is the Citys strong desire that general consensus be reached among interest groups regarding the preferred location for a Dog Park and that this consensus be achieved via review and understanding of the opportunities and constraints of the various sites.
Thank you for your interest in this project.
